To our Titan Family,
Per the guidelines issued by the Governor, we as a Board have met and discussed all options regarding our upcoming season. We are sad to announce that the 2020 season has been canceled for both football and cheerleading due to COVID-19. We will issue full refunds, to anyone who has already made payment, within the next few weeks. However, we plan on keeping some of our traditional events in place. Keep an eye out for future emails or follow us on Facebook for updates on any upcoming events. We will miss our Titan Family but the health and safety of our kids is very important to us. We look forward to seeing you soon at one of our annual events. Stay safe and healthy!
As you may know, the Titans are following the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) COVID-19 guidelines for football and the Illinois Recreational Cheerleading Association (IRCA) and Illinois Dance Association (IDA) for cheerleading.
*Temperature checks will be taken prior to the start of practice/games. Please arrive 15 minutes before all practices for a health screen and check injm
*Players/Cheerleaders must have a mask on when not on the field, before and after practice (must be provided by parent)
*All participants must bring their own water bottle. Absolutely NO shared water bottles, cloths, shoes, athletic towels, masks, etc.
*Shared equipment (such as footballs, blocking/sled pads, cheer mats, etc.) will be sanitized before all practices and periodically during practice when practicable. Helmets and shoulder pads are the responsibility of the participant/parent or guardian.
*Parents will be required to practice social distancing while on the sidelines, utilizing masks when social distancing is not practical
*Hand sanitizer stations will be available at designated locations
*All levels will be assigned specific practice locations to provide safe distances
*All Coaches must wear a mask at all times
*Please keep your child home if they are sick
*Athletes are encouraged to shower after practicing
*No spitting allowed
